My name is Allison Sadler and I am a freshman. I was born in Little Rock, Arkansas but moved to Kansas City, Missouri just two months after I was born. I have lived in Kansas City my whole life and it has been the best place to grow up. I am an only child with two older half sisters who mean the world to me. They are both married and have two kids each making me an aunt. I also have a dog named Dorothy who I am a little too obsessed with. Growing up I played every sport you could think of and had the best time doing it. My hobbies include sleeping every chance I get, Thomas Rhett, and mexican food.
I chose to study mass media when I first came here because I really enjoy the film and video part of it. However, I have started to get more into law and hope to go to law school some day so I am just feeling out different majors for now. I came to Washburn because I was recruited to play volleyball here the summer after my junior year of high school. I loved the campus and the team and knew this was the best place for me. Also being an hour away from home is great because with being an only child I am very close to my parents.
That's good to see that you have that passion and kept going with the Sport you love in college. How does it feel to be the only child?

ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed your first fall of volleyball! Getting to compete at the college level is a lot of fun. My roommate is from the Kansas City area and has only said good things.
