Jena Chanay: Introducing Me
Hello! My name is Jena. I was born and raised here in Topeka. I'm a freshman and my emphasis is film and video. A few of my hobbies are photography, videography, watching movies, spending time with family and friends, and going on adventures. I chose to study mass media for several reasons. I first became interested in making movies as a kid with my siblings and cousins. I always had so much fun with it. My passion for photography and videography continued through the years. In High School, I took photography classes and a T.V and Video Production class, which helped me decide what to study and eventually make a career out of. I decided to come to Washburn because it was very familiar to me. I love the opportunities and diversity that Washburn has to offer. I'm excited to meet and work with more people in the same field as me!

What kind of high school did you attend to where you were able take video production classes?

I just went to a normal high school, but was very fortunate that they offered these sort of classes!
DeleteI am taking photojournalism class but it is hard class for me. I wish I had the class before! I would ask you if I struggled with it!
ReplyDeleteThat's really cool! I'm not the best writer, so I think it would be hard for me as well. Luckily the class I took only focussed on taking the pictures.
